Lightweight ash body, moderately thick U-shaped 1-piece maple neck, pickups are American Vintage 52 Tele on the front and Pure Vintage 52 Tele on the rear, easy-to-use 3-way selector with modern wiring, master volume and master tone controls. This is the "NEW" American Vintage Series, upgraded in 2012 to aim for a more original atmosphere and tone than the previous American Vintage Series, and the lacquer finish is so thin that you can see the unevenness of the grain. There is a rice-sized dent with a dent in the paint near the end of the body top, small paint peeling on the upper left and lower right of the body back, and a dent in the paint caused by a buckle near the center of the right side of the body back, but otherwise there is no major damage and it is in relatively good condition considering its age. The neck is almost straight and in good condition, the truss rod works well, the frets are barely worn down, and there is no noticeable buzzing or stuffiness, so it plays well.
