This is a great bargain item that has been refinished. The body has been refinished in white with lacquer paint. It is likely that it was originally sunburst. When the original color was removed during the refinishing, the body was scraped off a little too much, giving the edge of the body a sharp impression. The body date stamp is blurred and doubled, making it difficult to determine for sure. The neck has been refretted and changed to a medium type, and the nut has been changed to a roller nut. The paint on the back of the neck has been peeled off. During the refret, the fingerboard R was corrected from 7.25R to a slightly flatter 9R. It is less likely to choke when the string height is lowered. It is now mainstream. The rear pickup has been changed to DIMARZIO / DP174, and all the pots have been changed to CTS.
