~*~ Hello and welcome to the Textile Trunk! Please follow us on Instagram, we are @textiletrunk ~*~ SO beautiful! This is a lovely antique French fabric dating to approximately 1890. It has the most wonderful pattern - a large scale Art Nouveau floral, with a fantastic pattern on the cream colored ground! The tones are BEAUTIFUL ~ there is a soft antique pink design in the ground with soft faded raspberry pink, cocoa brown, a warm sand, and off white (I love that color combination!) This fabric is wonderful quality. It would have been a very expensive purchase in its time! Heavy weight and a stunning design, this fabric is ideal for upholstery projects, pillows, curtains, bedding, you name it! Also wonderful for framing or using for design inspiration! MEASUREMENTS: This textile measures approximately 48 inches by 51 inches CONDITION: This textile has been kept in as found, not freshly laundered condition for collectors, but it can be machine washed and tumbled dry over and over again! Lovely condition indeed! This had been used as a curtain so along one edge there are still a few small metal rings attached. There are two seams running the length, and a few marks that look like rust that may not wash. There are a couple of small holes as well. This textile is not perfect, but it's perfectly wonderful for anyone who appreciates the signs of time and use inherent in these wonderful antiques! inv #: E A4057 (dual listed) 220104
