Vtg Enamel Tile MCM Georges Briard Signed 60's Bird Cage Large Original Gold NOS. Mid Century Modern. For over 60 YEARS they were hidden. Kitchens or decorated with these as a backsplash and other designer ways, and featured in major magazines. 8 1/4 x 8 1/4 inch square. there is a smaller matching tile for sale in my items. Enameled Metal Mid Century Modern This is part of a huge lot found in an abandoned Barn in upstate New York. the manufacturer went out of business and stored virtually thousands of these different tiles in this barn. For over 60 YEARS they were hidden. These were popular in the late 50s 60s for decorating, making cheese boards, or even framing the artwork. When the original source, or picker, there will be no more of these to be purchased as New Old stock. Kitchens or decorated with these as a backsplash and other designer ways, and featured in major magazines. Excellent condition. Some oxidation on edges, to be expected considering age.
