I absolutely love these tavern candlesticks after seeing a pair on the Antiques Roadshow, and these are a wonderful example of them and a piece of social history. They are exactly as described and pictured, and the seller is an absolute gem who worked with me to help me buy them when I thought the high postage cost from the USA would prevent me.
