Description
This vintage oil lamp & burner by Eagle is a beautiful addition to any collection. With a decorative etched base featuring scrolling, and ivy designs, the body has a dimpled and it's a stunning piece. The lamp is a large size at 19.75" tall and 6.25" wide with a clear chimney and clear glass finish on the body. The lamp is powered by oil and a wick, with a rotary knob control style that works well and is clean. It has a single light and a tall chimney shade 10”. This original antique lamp is from the 1900s, with a Victorian style and has not been modified. The manufacturer is Eagle, and it was made in the United States. These lamps are part of my grandma & grandpa estate, they were collectors of oil lamps. They had over 300 and 70% were Aladdin’s, very beautiful. I just did not have room for them. Most of the collection has been sold but I still have some bases, parts ect.. I’ve done my best to describe the lamp and the photos are considered part of my description.
