Vintage Nippon Vanity Dresser Tray Porcelain Hand Painted Blue Border Floral. Features Yellow and Pink Flowers, Green Leaves and Vine. A Blue Border on the inside top edge shaped like small swags, and an inside blue outline mimicking the tray’s shape. The blue backstamp has the Nippon Rising Sun with “Hand Painted” on top and “Nippon” below. DESCRIPTION : Nippon hand painted Vanity Dresser Tray. Features Yellow and Pink Flowers, Green Leaves and Vine. A Blue Border on the inside top edge shaped like small swags, and an inside blue outline mimicking the tray’s shape. The blue backstamp has the Nippon Rising Sun with “Hand Painted” on top and “Nippon” below. Nippon began using this mark in 1911.CONDITION : No chips or cracks. Some surface scratching, commensurate with its age. Most of gold detail has worn off. MEASUREMENTS : The tray measures approximately 10” long x 7” wide x 0.5” tall.
