Vintage Needlepoint Pillow Weeping Willow Ruffle Handmade 13" Square Finished. Blue backing and white lace edge. Needlepoint measures about 9" square. Has initials and date "PS 1983" bottom right corner. The weeping willow has two main symbolizations, either grief, mourning, and remembrance due to its natural association with tears and sorrow. It may also represent resilience, adaptation, and the continuity of life, as the tree itself is strong and adaptable.
