Vintage 1950s Ted Mehrer Verlys Opalescent Glass Three Fish Bowl

Description
Comes with wooden stand. A couple flea bites on the bottom rim. No cracks or chips. This Bowl was designed as a special Christmas edition and was sold for the 1950 Christmas season. The three fish represent, Carp, perseverance. Perch, wealth and Sturgeon representing distinction. Ted Mehrer went on to work for Fenton Glass Company. There are light scratches on the interior from use but no chips or damage. It appears this is a Ted Mehrer Verlys of America "Round Fish Bowl" mold struck by Fenton or Holophane - most likely Holophane as it is in french opalescent.
I shuddered when the mail person on my porch camera, drop my package to the ground then kicked it. "Fragile" WAS written on the box. Seems like my order was packed with events like that in mind. The contents were unfazed by the lack of care from this postal work. Items were received clean & in very good condition. No cracks or chips. THANK YOU, JESSE! The care & effort is soo appreciated!
Arrived safely in over-the-top sturdy, careful and beautiful packing—much appreciated. Is as shown, except, only issue is does not sit flat (it rocks) on a counter or table. Seems one must ask all sellers EVERYthing re conditions!
