Vintage (1930s) Federal Glass "Sharon Amber" (Roses) 8 1/2" Large Serving Bowl. Large serving bowl from Federal Glass is a stunning addition to any collection. The bowl features an embossed cabbage rose pattern in a lovely warm yellow color. Federal Glass made this pattern (Sharon Amber) from 1935-1939. This beautiful vintage (nearly antique!) large serving bowl from Federal Glass is a stunning addition to any collection. The bowl features an embossed cabbage rose pattern in a lovely warm yellow color. Crafted in Ohio in 1936, this handmade pressed glass piece is a true retro find. The serving bowl measures 8.5 inches in width and diameter, with a height of 2.3 inches and it weighs 1 pound, 2.7 ounces. Federal Glass made this pattern (Sharon Amber) from 1935-1939. The serving bowl is in very good used condition. There are no chips or cracks. There are some surface scratches from use and there is one spot just under the rim where the glass did not pull away cleanly from the mould when it was originally made (see picture 3).
