SEE VIDEO to appreciate this very vintage (believe is antique) Cloisonne fu / foo dog. This vintage bronze / brass lion beast statue is a Cloisonne Guardian Foo Dog, standing at 2 inches tall. Hand painted in a bronze color, this imperial guardian lion, also known as a shishi or Foo Dog, originates from China and dates back to the early to mid 20th century. The intricate design and craftsmanship of this Asian lion make it a unique and decorative piece for those interested in Asian antiques and animal-themed decor. It is such a great find -- for you. In great vintage condition. (Note: The holes within cloisonne pieces is where they enter to complete the detailing of the piece. I really love this fu dog -- and I am sure you will too!
