The design is based on the image of the Deer God. The figure of the Deer God appearing in the daytime and Kodama calling for the Deer God are printed on a colorful, eye-catching green tote bag. The image of the Deer God in a dazzling light as he appears before Ashitaka in the forest. The Deer God has a reflector print, so when light hits him in the dark, he appears to reflect and glow. Kodama is a luminescent print, which glows a pale yellowish-green in the dark with light stored during the day, and is reminiscent of the faintly glowing figure of Kodama in the work.
