Interior screws are exposed Both knobs locked/unlocked by push button inside Can be unlocked from outside with emergency key that is included with your purchase. Turning inside knob unlocks outside: this is known as a Panic Proof Function. This Door knob set is compatible with Right and Left handed doors. Adjustable Backset 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" Unit is non handed and is field reversible. As advertised.....shipping was a bit of a "mystery" - FedEx strikes again.... Tracking info showed FedEx hadn't received the item yet and after three days, I contacted the seller with a prompt reply that it was on its way and they had opened a claim. The last day before I could consider it lost in transit and request a refund, it showed up - unfortunately, damaged.....I documented the damage and the seller quickly issued a refund. Excellent business practices, excellent communication, thank you.
