Authentic Beetle Kill Blue Pine harvested in North Central Montana from The Bears Paw Mountain Range. One side of the board has been left with the live edge and the dark finish has been created using a technique known as Japanese Shou Shugi Ban. This burning technique is known for its resistance towards future rotting, pests, and fire. This board is visually amazing and definitely unique as it has been hand created by our head sawyer.
