This is an original factory Rheem Hybrid Water Heater outlet duct adapter part number 17829 or SP17829 and are BRAND NEW IN BOX and are OEM (original equipment manufacturer) produced including the adapter, foam self stick gasket, and screws. Non-manufacturer knock-off 3D printed copies do not come with foam gasket and may not fit properly so make sure you are getting the correct item in the time frame you need it. This attaches to the output duct of your Rheem hybrid water heater and allows an 8 inch duct to be attached to it and routed to the area you wish the cold output air of the heater to go to. They also fit Ruud and Richmond hybrid water heaters (all are made by Rheem). If your water heater looks like the one shown with the yellow background, this duct is correct. It comes with 6 self tapping screws and a self-adhesive gasket along with installation instructions (shown in pic above). It measures about 12.75 inches wide at bottom (left to right), 12.25 inches wide on side (top to bottom) and about 1.75 inches at its deepest point. The outlet hole is about 8 inches in diameter. There is an install shown with a custom wall niche (inset) which we can custom make to your required dimensions if needed for you (3D printed) and purchase through an Ebay sale.
