RARE ORIGINAL ART RALPH "RABINDRA" DANKS 23" x 17" HAND DRAWN & SIGNED HORSE CAT. Rare and original hand-drawn artwork by artist Ralph "RABINDRA" Danks from the 1970's. "Signature and editioned are written in pencil on the print. Original used rOtoring pen. Since there is no pencil notation of edition, it must be an original.". THIS IS ORIGINAL ART! Info from Rabindra's former partner states this is one of his earlier pieces and original due to the lack of numbering and signing in pencil. Ltd. As you can see by the photographs the color of the animal eyes and/or the red dot have bled through the art paper indicating these are original and NOT prints or lithogrpahs. Mr. Danks used the name "Rabindra" from his attraction to the Hindu culture. The red dot in his art drawings represented a Hindu good luck symbol, and was sometimes the only color on the drawing. There is minor edge and corner wear from storage of this beautiful piece. The piece has been rolled. See photos for condition or ask questions! The large 23 1/8" x 17 1/2" drawing features a HORSE AND LARGE CAT with the "red dot" as the eye of the horse, as its subject, signed by the artist himself. This unique piece of art, made on paper in the United States, showcases the talent and craftsmanship of Rabindra Danks during the 1970s, making it a valuable and collectible item for art enthusiasts and collectors alike. Others listed on eBay are much smaller and are prints or lithos. This is original artwork from the artist.
