They are very clean and shiny, inside and out, without, chips, cracks, scratches, dark utensil marks, mineral deposits, or dishwasher film, and the base bottoms show no signs of use. This set has been closely inspected and the only thing noted were clear factory craze lines on (1) bowl only. They are clear and do not affect its use or detract from its display value.
