It should list a range of nozzle sizes you can use based on the brand and type of burner you have. If you need to change to a different firing rate or angle you will most likely need to adjust the combustion air to get a clean & efficient burn. This may involve adjusting the air-band and/or air shutter. In some cases it may be necessary to adjust the fuel oil pump pressure also. We can help you do this through or technical support department. Many times home-owners install whatever the 'BIG BOX' store sells them and tells them to use. Usually this is NOT the right nozzle to install. You DO NOT replace a nozzle with the same nozzle that came out of the burner just because someone had that size in before.
