It combined lavish costumes, stunning sets, and elaborate stage effects. The revue followed the tradition of Parisian cabaret, featuring dance, music, and theatrical elements. The show starred the Bluebell Girls , a famous troupe known for their precision and grace. They were led by Margaret Kelly, nicknamed “Miss Bluebell.” In addition to the dancers, male performers and other acts like acrobats and magicians added variety. A standout feature of Grand Jeu was the use of advanced stage technology, including moving platforms and water effects. These innovations set the Lido apart from other venues. The revue provided a luxurious experience that transported the audience into a world of fantasy and elegance. The Lido’s reputation as a premier Paris cabaret was solidified during this time.
