FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE.... Found in an estate liquidation on the island of Madeira in Portugal, that of a family with ties to France. Purchased a decade ago at the Flea Market in Paris, a hand painted trinket box in the form of an egg. It stands 3 inches tall and was signed by the artist and dated 2006. Additionally marked "Peinte a`la Main" for hand painted. The artist name is i mpossible to decipher. It has survived in good condition, free of chips or cracks, no abrasions. I did notice a small drop of hardened glue on the inside of the lower half that I have left as found. I have inserted a standard size playing card in one photo as a reference for size. MUCH OBLIGED
