FREE SHIPPING Vintage Rococo Style Hutschenreuther Selb Revere/8045 Sugar Bowl. The Revere / 8045 was introduced in 1958 and discontinued in 1988. The 2 handles are Rococo scrolled “C” shaped. The bowl’s backstamp with the green walking lion dates the age of this bowl between 1958 - 1965. The Hutschenreuther Company was founded in 1814 in Bavaria, Germany and has a reputation as a high quality manufacturer of fine European tableware. The Revere / 8045 was introduced in 1958 and discontinued in 1988. The Revere pattern Rococo Revival style bowl is made of high quality, brilliant white porcelain with an elegantly scalloped rim trimmed in platinum. The sugar bowl also features an ornate scalloped, round footed base trimmed in platinum. The 2 handles are Rococo scrolled “C” shaped. The bowl’s backstamp with the green walking lion dates the age of this bowl between 1958 - 1965. This bowl would look stunning on anyone’s table, china cabinet or dinner table. It could be used as a sugar bowl, a bowl styled vase, or an eye catching decorative bowl. The balloon shaped sugar bowl has about a maximum 4” diameter and is 5-1/4”” tall with the lid on. The sugar bowl and lid weigh 10.1 ounces. The sugar bowl is used, in vintage condition. There is a CHIP in the inner rim mouth of the sugar bowl not visible when the lid is on the bowl. See photo. The platinum trim on both handles of the sugar bowl and the lid’s finial are worn. One handle of the sugar bowl has a CRACK. See photos. There is no staining, crazing, scratches or utensil marks observed otherwise. I recommend hand washing to preserve and protect the platinum trim.
