FREE SHIPPING Vintage 6 Pfaltzgraff TEA ROSE Soup Cereal Bowls 6” Round USA. This soup/cereal bowl set does not feature Tea Rose pink rose and blue flower decals. The interior of the bowl is smooth and free of decoration also. The stoneware bowl is 6” round and is 2-1/2” tall and weighs 12.3 ounces (a heavy bowl for its size). Offering for sale with FREE SHIPPING, a 6 piece set vintage Pfaltzgraff Tea Rose 6” diameter Soup/ Cereal Bowls made in the USA. The Pfaltzgraff Company of York Pennsylvania began making fine pottery in 1811. The Pfaltzgraff Tea Rose pattern was introduced in 1985 and remains a popular table setting today featuring a creamy white colored bowl with embossed scallop in the side of the bowl. This soup/cereal bowl set does not feature Tea Rose pink rose and blue flower decals. The interior of the bowl is smooth and free of decoration also. The stoneware bowl is 6” round and is 2-1/2” tall and weighs 12.3 ounces (a heavy bowl for its size). This bowl could be used as a cereal bowl, soup bowl, chili bowl, rice or ramen bowl, a dessert bowl or a small vegetable serving bowl. The bowl is advertised as microwave and dishwasher safe. The bottom of the bowl is embossed with the 3 castles Pfaltzgraff USA logo. The embossed logo was used from 1985-2005 until Pfaltzgraff was acquired by Lifetime Brands. I think this bowl is from before 2005 +/- a couple of years and was Made in USA. The Soup/Cereal Bowls are in very good used condition with no chips or nicks. Three of the bowls have stained black lines on the outside bottom of the bowl that you don’t see unless you turn the bowl over. See magnified photos. There are also tiny utensil marks in the bottom of the bowls common for items that have been used . One bowl has some crazing in the glaze on the bottom of the bowl - you really have to look for the crazing in good light. This would be a nice addition to your table.
