original rare Conceptual Art LP Christian Ernest Marclay ( 1955 ) FOOTSTEPS RecRec 26 RecRec Music , Zürich ( Switzerland ) 1989 1st (only) ltd. edition one of 350 unboxed copies vinyl 12" 1-sided 33 1/3 rpm. LP LP was part of an art project by Marclay it was used to line the floor of the Shedhalle Gallery in Zürich from April 6, 1989 to July 16, 1989 1000 copies were packaged and sold as a box set (with a poster and postcard) 350 copies were sold separately at Veit Stauffer's RecRec Store in Zürich LP contains recordings of footsteps recorded in December 1988 as well as a tapdance recording, audible is also the damage done by footsteps during the exhibition at the gallery.
