On auction, we have a collection of 7 Manson family members' stories and biographies. This 5 pound 10 ounce group is (in no particular order):1. "The Manson Family "Then And Now"" by David Pietras. This 2013 First Edition with soft cover measures 11" X 8 1/2" X 1/4" and has unnumbered pages. It looks new, possibly never read. 2. "Manson's Girl: The True Story Of Leslie Van Houghton" by Rose Duncan. Undated with unnumbered pages, this soft cover book measures 8" X 5 1/4" X 1/8". It is in excellent condition; but, many sentences are highlighted in yellow. 3. "The Killing Of Sharon Tate Exclusive Story By Susan Atkins Confessed Participant In The Murder" By Lawrence Schiller. This is a 1970 First Printing paperback with 226 pages including 8 with photographs. It measures 7" X 4 1/4". There are some written notes inside and one page corner folded down; otherwise, only slightly used. 4. "The Myth Of Helter Skelter" by Susan Atkins-Whitehouse. This paperback was published in 2012. This 230 page book has photographs and many highlights and red notes. It is otherwise crisp and clean. It is 9" X 6". 5. "Will You Die For Me?" Tex Watson as told to Chaplin Ray. This is a 1978 possible First Edition hardback book with 223 pages including illustrations. The red cloth cover book has only mild shelfwear, but the dust jacket is torn and mended with tape. Inside, the pages are very clean with only one penciled note. It measures 9 1/2" X 6 1/4". 6. "Family Man The Unreal Story Of Charles Manson's Right-hand Man" by Chuck W. Chapman copyright 2020. This 294 page paperback book is 8" X 5". It is pristine, possibly never read. 7. "Squeaky The Life And Times Of Lynette Alice Fromme" by Jess Bravin. A First Edition hardcover published 1997 with 432 pages including photos. The front endpage and page edges have spots; otherwise, this is clean. The dust jacket has wrinkled edges. It measures 9 3/4" X 6 1/2". About the collection: These are from the estate of Ivor Davis, some were used for research on the Manson family. About the owner: IVOR DAVIS (1938-2026) was the only daily newspaper reporter to travel with the Beatles in North America in l964 from start to finish. For half a century he wrote about movies, murder and music for the London Daily Express, The Times of London, The New York Times Syndicate and Los Angeles Magazine. In 1969, as a reporter, he became deeply embedded in the life of cult leader Charles Manson, drawing a vivid picture of life inside the Manson Family. He co-authored the first book on the Manson murders, Five to Die . In Manson Exposed: A Reporter’s 50-Year Journey into Madness and Murder, he shared his odyssey of over half a century.
