Varidepth® T/C with Armor Clad Adjustable Depth Immersion J Type Thermocouple in Armor Clad Flexible Tube. Good for up to 750 F. Up for auction are some old stock/never used Barber Coleman VariDepth J Type T/C (Thermal Couples). Has part number P011-33003-16-0-0 . The Varidepth thermocouple adjusts to many depths eliminating the need to stock a variety of fixed immersion sensors. The flexible tube provides flexibility to adjust the probe tip where you need it. This Varidepth thermocouple is a Type J. Immersion tube is 3" long, Armor Clad flexible sheath is 16" long. T/C wires extend 3.0" out of sheath and are stripped 1/4" exposing wire for connecting to reading temperature of tip. Wires are wrapped in fiberglass insulation withing flexible sheath. Total length 22" from end to end. It is a closed end, single T/C that is Grounded. The wires are fiberglass jacketed within the flexible tube (sheath) and the Thermal Couple Immersion tube is rated to 750 F. This Type J, T/C, has silver soldered tipped probes for faster response.
