Sophisticated and charming, the perfect combination ~*~ ~*~ This textile is an antique French bed curtain, dating c1870. This enormous piece would have hung from a chateau ceiling and would have draped to the floor behind the bed. This textile is made using the most wonderful light weight cotton floral fabric with a wonderful pale ground pattern and floral design ~ There is no backing The fabric is lightly glazed and has a crinkly or crisp, thin but strong texture. The colors are divine!! The tones are autumnal , peach tones, greens , mauve and aged off-white ~ ~*~ A stunning textile, rare, large and beautiful! ~*~ *~ ( please see my other textiles for the matching panels , search my store for Autumnal floral ~ This panel is constructed by seaming 3 long lengths of this fabric together and adding the side trim! ~*~ MEASUREMENTS : 101 inches long!! by 98 inches wide at the bottom, at the top where it is gathered, it's 62inches wide ~ CONDITION : This fabric is in as found, unwashed condition with storage dust ~ beautiful condition! There are some small marks. There are some bobbles missing on the trim~ it's in GORGEOUS condition ~ only very light signs of time and use , which are often inherent in these magical antique fabrics ~ I LOVE this panel Etsy : E 481
