Description
Antique mortise door lock made of cast iron with original style skeleton key included. Rectangular mortise lock body with square spindle hub for door knob, visible keyhole, and metal faceplate with latch bolt. No visible maker marks. Key is metal with round bow and bit end designed to operate the internal mechanism. Condition Used antique condition. Surface wear, patina, and finish loss consistent with age and use. Light surface rust present. Key included. Lock has not been function tested in a door however the key does operate the lock.
