Italian Classical Marble Figure Jacksons Antique are pleased to offer an Italian Classical Marble Figure stood upon a rocky plinth scantly dressed with a draped robe seen pouring water from a large urn as she looks on. The figures draped cloth flows throughout the figure giving her privacy as it finishes across the base of the marble. Next to the figure a small sprig of wheat stands carved into the rear. The captivating Marble Figure is carved from solid white ‘Carrara’ marble and dates to the second half of the 19th century circa 1870, very much in the grand tour style.
