Description
This is a spectacular American Brilliant Period cut glass punch bowl with stand. The bowl alone is 12" in diameter, 8" deep, and weighs 12 lbs. 10 oz.; and the stand is 5 lbs with a bottom base diameter of 9" . Together, they weigh 17 lbs. 10 oz. The glass is 5/8" thick and the bowl has a beautiful, clear resonance when tapped, (between an E and an F). The 2 piece set has a trumpet form precision cut base. The motifs are sharply and deeply cut with fabulous floating hobstars. The condition is good, there is some scratching and cloudiness to the bottom of the bowl and both pieces have some scratches and a very few flakes or dings, pictured. This set is monumental and a focal point of any room in which it would be displayed! Please message me with questions! There is a $20 handling fee for additional insurance.
