The 1769-ECR is certified with the IEC hazardous location approval and European hazardous location approval ratings. It is designed to withstand thermal shock, dry heat, and cold environments. This is the 1769-ECR by Allen-Bradley. It is a terminator or right end cap for use with the 1769 controller series. This unit serves to terminate the end of the communication bus of the controller. It is limited to a bus current draw of 5 milliamperes at 5 volts DC.
