Alice Warder Seely's mixed Native American, Spanish, and Anglo heritage reflects the rich cultural diversity of New Mexico. Seely is the step daughter of Navajo artist Ha-So-De (Narciso Abeyta), "The Gaugin of American Indian Art" Ms. Seely works in multiple mediums. Media = This beautiful work is made from cast paper composites, monotypes, and repoussage, (embossed metal oil). Because it's metallic it reflects light and color. We purchased it from a Nashville estate sale. Condition = Good condition. No holes rips or repairs to the artwork. There is some dust in the glass which protects the art as seen in photo 6. The artist's signature is on the lower left and the date of 1985 is on the lower right. There is some light wear on the frame.
