There is some rust (from Brimfield in the '70's,) but not from Denver for sure! This little tin toy wagon has been sitting on a toy room shelf and looking cute! However years before I purchased it, someone took the rubber tires for another toy. (It happens) The handle (or yoke?) 2 1/4" from the bend to the round end, is 3 1/2." The red bed is approx. 3 3/4" on the top, and the two decals on the sides are still looking pretty good. The inside of the bed is missing a bit of the old decal, but some is still there. It does show age, and the actual red is brighter than shown in the photos. Yes I know they do make new reproductions replacement tires, but I don't do anything to old items. Yes it would look better with tires, but I liked it the way it is! Any questions, please email me. A magnet DOES stick, because it is heavy tin under that red paint! Top of bed to floor is 1 1/2" and the tires would raise it up a bit. Did you notice the original wooden hubs (?) are still in tact? It looks great on a shelf next to rolling stock!
