Description
this vintage black knit sweater featuring crazy rainbow gemstone details is truly 1980s perfection! it is adorned at the front with multicolor large gemstones, sequins, and small round gold beads, forming an abstract design around the necklace. the intricate embellishments have been done by hand, and are attached to the sweater by threads, not by glue. the long sleeved sweater features a crew neckline, removeable velcro light shoulder pads, and the sweater is ribbed at the sleeves and bottom hem. the cozy acrylic nylon blend fabric is slouchy with a bit of stretch, fairly lightweight, and is unlined. this funky vintage sweater is tagged as size small and I would say this best fits womens size small or medium. in great vintage condition with some loose and missing beads (nothing major) and minor pilling throughout. measurements (lying flat): bust (armpit to armpit): 19” across (38” when doubled) shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 22” sleeve length (measured from shoulder seam): 20” armpit to bottom hem: 16” centre back length: 25” bottom hem opening: 12” (however it has stretch)
