This listing is for a box of pre-owned indoor/outdoor carpet squares or tiles. Each tile originally measured 24 x 24 inches, but 7 of these HAVE BEEN CUT, while 6 others are UNCUT. On the cut squares, about 10-20% has been trimmed so you get pieces that are 80-90% intact. (Approx 48-50 sq. ft.) The thickness is about 1/4 inch. The brand is Invision from Home Depot. These are "contractor" grade. Fade resistant. Stain resistant. Ideal for commercial or residential applications.I don't think this style is available from Home Depot any longer. There are actually two styles intermingled here, but the difference between the two styles is so subtle that it may be hard to tell them apart. See photos. These have a black rubber backing or pad built in. In many cases, they can be used as is with no glue or adhesive tabs to hold them in place. After a while, they will start to stick on their own. At least that was my experience on a polished concrete floor. The tiles have been used in a low traffic non-smoking office with no pets. The back padding of small number of squares, perhaps 5 or 10 percent, were exposed to soapy water. You will notice some white residue or discoloration on the backing, but the carpet is fine and the squares are fully functional as is. If you feel ambitious, those with soapy residue on the back could be washed to remove the residue. I would just spray with a hose or pressure wash them. Then let them dry thoroughly before installing. Note that I am also selling full (100%) pieces and other cut carpet pieces in separate listings.
