1930s Pewter OPEN SALT CELLAR, Cobalt Blue Glass Insert, Pierced Handles 1930s Pewter OPEN SALT CELLAR, Cobalt Blue Glass Insert, Pierced Handles Click images to enlarge Description 1930s OPEN SALT CELLAR, COBALT GLASS INSERT Lovely old heavy metal open salt cellar measuring about 1-1/3" deep and 2" wide. Featuring a charming molded shape with short pedestal foot and pierced handles, it is fitted with a removable cobalt blue glass insert. Marked with a triangle and illegible lettering on the base (I think by Just Anderson), it is either spelter with a plated finish or pewter with a plated finish. Condition is very nice with overall plating loss - glass insert has no damage. Think this is such a pretty little open salt - color is a rich cobalt blue - hoping someone can use it - fun addition to any collection, table, or display! If questions, please contact me - thanks!
