1930s Jeannette Glass Co. Green Depression Glass Sierra /Pinwheel 8.5-Inch Bowl . Because this piece was manufactured using trace amounts of uranium dioxide, it is highly collectible and features a brilliant fluorescent reaction when placed under a UV light source. Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic piece of American history from the Great Depression era. This large, deep fruit/berry serving bowl features the stunning geometric, ribbed Art Deco lines of Jeannette's iconic "Sierra" pattern.
