A comprehensive, three volume historical account written and illustrated by Benson John Lossing, blending narrative with hundreds of wood engravings sketched directly at the battlefields. The text is in NEAR FINE CONDITION with NO foxing. All three bindings are in very good condition! I recently acquired a collection of antique books about the Civil War. Some were written during the war or shortly after and all date from the 19th century. All the books are completely original and in a fine state of preservation! I will be listing this rare collection over the next two weeks!
